30,000 megawatts/year

Cascadilla Community Solar Farm at Cornell is owned by Cornell University and is located on university owned 125 acre property in Dryden, NY. The new 79,000 panel solar farm will produce 30,000 megawatts annually, which is enough energy to power 3,000 homes.

This project represents the largest private sector investment in the town in decades. Through a special arrangement, Solar Farms New York has made contributions to several community solar farms including the Dryden Community Center Cafe, the Dryden Historical Society, the Dryden Kiwanis, the Dryden Rotary, the Dryden Sertoma Club, the Dryden Youth Opportunity Fund, the Ellis Hollow Community Center, the Southworth Library Association and the Varna Community Association.
